Shadiyah is a full-time professional Middle Eastern/South
Asian dance artist based in the Washington, DC, Maryland and
Virginia areas, as well as a professional singer. Traveling
domestically and internationally Shadiyah performs Vintage
Orientale (Classic Belly Dance/Raqs Sharki), Egyptian,
Lebanese, Turkish, Classical, Folk & Contemporary Persian
dances, Afghani, Bollywood/Filmi, Bhangra and Mujra styles of
dance.
Engaged in her crafts since childhood with a foundation in
ballet, tap, jazz and more, Shadiyah has been focusing on
Middle Eastern/South Asian & dances of the Silk Road for over
a decade, and continues to enrich her knowledge through
education on the history, cultures and various dances of these
regions.
